The book/CD will help impart hope, build resilience & restore joy. This project is almost ready to put into book form now! Support GITC to chart, record and produce these brand new printable songbooks/CDs for people teaching and caring for children and donate copies for 300 classrooms!

Add that to the everyday troubles from family stress issues- and for more than half, the impact of poverty- and kids really need a safe, healthy way to relieve stress, build trust & engage creatively for the sake of learning. Teachers need a way to help students thrive.
Songs that express, name and address big feelings and tough situations can lift students' spirits, de-mystify the emotions and bring every together. We have been told by teachers in our programs that they have sung songs with their students during frightening experiences in order to bring calm. From shoot-outs in the school yard to hurricanes, teachers want to use music to settle, comfort and empower students to release their fears- to keep positive. This project will give them these songs.
A song collection lasts forever. Making it available for free will help it travel far and wide. As an online document with accompanying recordings and videos, anyone with access to a computer or smartphone will be able to learn to sing the songs. Once it exists, this collection of Songs for Comfort, Help, Hope & Healing will make a difference for teachers and students everywhere. These songs will stay with students in their memories throughout life, to be sung whenever challenges are great.
