This project provides a home and education for Fifteen rural, disadvantaged and vulnerable young girls and boys. We are one big family in this home. The children are originally from rural areas. They usually have gone through so much at that young age and face an uncertain future. The home provides the children with a chance to live in the urban setting, use electric lighting, running water, a proper toilet, attaining an equal opportunity and interaction with urban children at their school
There are so many children who by virtue of their circumstances have become victims of their own reality. These children are born to poor and uneducated parents. Their families are entangled in poverty traps for generations. Some are orphaned from HIV/AIDS at a young age with no support from surviving family members. They face an uncertain future and yet have the potential to excel given an opportunity. They deserve a second chance to life and an education to help them shape their own future.
The project will try to meet these young girls and boys social, material, emotional and educational needs. We will bring the children in and give them a home. We will provide for their home needs, listen and talk to them about life in general, teach them some house chores, motivate and encourage them to dream and work hard to be who they want to be in life. They will have access to education, knowledge about self-hygiene and support to boost their confidence. We will let them be loved children.
The children will have a permanent place they call home and we will try to provide for them in this home. They will receive support to attain formal education to the highest level that they are able to achieve. They will also acquire home skills and We will continue to guide/help them shape their future. Most important, the girls will have an opportunity to remain in school much longer. This will help them avoid early marriage, its associated risks and the constant risk of exposure to HIV/AIDS.
